Suzanne Simard

Suzanne Simard is an author of the the book “Finding the Mother Tree”. She is known for her research into communication among trees and plants.  Her theories have changed the way people view trees. She has proven beyond doubt that trees communicate with each other. They do this through fungal networks buried in the soil. Simard’s work has implications culturally and ecologically for the entire world.

My queries started from a place of solemn curiosity, one clue leading to another, about how the forest was more than just a collection of trees.
