Sylvia Earle

Sylvia Earle is an American oceanographer, explorer, and environmental activist.  Dr. Earle was the first female scientist to head the National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration in the United States. She is known for her work on marine algae and the effects of pollution and overfishing on the world’s oceans.

We need to respect the oceans and take care of them as if our lives depended on it. Because they do.
